Coaching, training, inspiring, and speaking with creatives on their path to business success is something that brings me joy and fulfills me. I have also been experimenting in my own creative business for over 25 years. These are my primary reasons for taking on this podcast. In sharing my wisdom, experience, and expertise with you, I want to help you shortcut your learning curve to success in ways that you may not have thought possible.
While I have so much advice to share with you, we’ll start with a few tips regarding my biggest frustration before we dive in fully. That frustration? Undervaluing yourself and your unique talents.
Success is Not a Destination
Don’t get stalled out by the things you didn’t do or choices you could have made. We can only move forward and learn from our mistakes. You cannot do better without knowing better! Reframe the idea of success being a “destination” and you will find yourself more comfortable with challenges. It doesn’t matter where you are coming from, only that you are on your own journey.
You are Unique… and So is Your Business
Most importantly, I understand that you are a one-of-a-kind combination of your own experiences, so my advice will never be “one size fits all.” I’m supplying you with the resources, strategies, tools and tips that you can digest and apply at your own pace and wherever you are on your journey.
Some advice will work for you and some may not. It’s up to you to decide what resonates, and where these tips fit into your creative business. My advice is never prescriptive: instead, I want to encourage you to trust your instincts, appreciate your value, and embrace the adventure of finding your own voice–with some help along the way!
